Alonzo started nikkio in 2008 as the counter-argument to a pattern every software buyer knows: the senior people who win the work hand it to a rotating bench, the estimate becomes an opening bid, and the client pays for the difference. Nikkio is built small enough that the person who scopes the work builds it, and confident enough to put the estimate, the warranty, and the response times in writing.
His background spans full-stack development, enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practice across healthcare, government, associations, and industry. He leads technical strategy and delivery on every engagement, not as a figurehead on the proposal, but as the engineer whose name is on the estimate.
The commercial terms exist because of that history. An estimate guarantee is what accountability looks like when the estimator and the builder are the same person. The 180-day warranty is what confidence looks like when you expect your systems to outlast the engagement. Neither is a marketing device; both have been standing policy since the beginning.
